Tips For Cold Rolled Strip Storage

• Do not be soaked by water, store indoors, and avoid open stacking.
• If the steel coil is exposed to rain or condensation, it should be unpacked immediately and dried quickly to remove moisture, and used as soon as possible.
• The steel coil should be stored in the factory condition as far as possible and should not be stacked in multiple layers to avoid deformation of the steel coil.
• The mechanical properties of steel coil or steel plate are generally guaranteed for six months, and the aging caused by long-term storage of steel coil makes the mechanical properties change, so it should be used as soon as possible. The principle of “first purchase, first use” when used, especially in coastal and industrial environments, should shorten the storage period.
